Telesales Officer – Banking Liability Products
Job Description
This Tele-sales position interfaces with customers via outbound/inbound calls, or through the Internet for the purpose of selling banking products and services. This position is responsible for processing customer orders and sales, providing/receiving information, selling client products/service, as well as providing basic customer service support.
JOB PURPOSE
To optimize productivity from an individual’s capabilities, knowledge and experience to increase the customer base and meet the bank targets by effective & timely management of daily duties and paying attention to the Banks policies, ethics and code of conduct.
Essential Functions / Core Responsibilities
SALES & SERVICES
To call prospective and existing customers of the bank and proactively sell them the banks products and services to meet the assigned targets.
To ensure realistic commitments are made to customers and render them excellent service to differentiate ourselves from the competition.
Bring in quality customers to the bank, which leads to quality references thus ensuring each case is profitable to the bank.
Ensure clean and healthy sourcing without resorting to quick-fix measures and fraudulent practices that may affect performance of the portfolio
Daily Checking of submissions to manage better approval rates.
OPERATION, INTERNAL CHECKS AND CONTROLS
Conduct all sales and service activities within the risk and compliance parameters as defined from time to time.
Awareness of all policies and procedures issued in relation to Money Laundering preventions.
Ensure compliance with these policies and procedures on an on-going basis.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
Min. 1.5 year of proven experience in a tele-sales role within a bank / non-banking financial company selling financial products and services.
Bilingual English and Arabic speaker.
Graduate and above preferred in any stream.
Strong communication and Interpersonal skills.
Target Oriented.
Courteous with strong sales and customer service orientation.
Strong negotiation skills required.
Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbally.
Skilled in multi-tasking; including the ability to be flexible and adapt to changes quickly.
Presentable with a positive, proactive and professional approach.
Tolerance for repetitive work in a fast-paced, high production work environment.
Results driven, enthusiastic, attention to detail and dependable.
Open to work 6 days a week + long hours, if required. (Mainly for achievement of individual monthly sales targets).
