We currently have a fixed term vacancy for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the UAE, working for STS on a programme for a premium flag carrier on an exciting aircraft upgrade project.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the HR Manager, this role requires the successful candidate to:
Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies, including job posting optimisation, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop job descriptions and specifications that attract qualified candidates.
Utilise various recruitment channels and tools to proactively source candidates, including online platforms, professional networks, and referrals.
Conduct thorough assessments of applicants, including competency-based interviews, skills assessments, and reference checks, ensuring a robust and objective selection process.
Monitor recruitment metrics and provide regular reports and insights to identify areas for improvement and optimise talent acquisition strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to talent acquisition, and recommend innovative approaches to attract top talent.
Prepare offers in-line with the salary matrix and negotiate on terms.
Coordinate date of joining and travel arrangements as necessary.
Request and collate joining documentation to prepare for visa processing.
Build and maintain a strong talent pool of candidates.
Constantly act as a brand ambassador ensuring that STS Aviation Services is an attractive employer throughout the whole acquisition process (gaining a positive candidate experience).
Skills and Experience Requirements:
At least 3 years recruitment experience, 1 year specialising in aviation.
Previous onboarding experience is essential for this role.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt to change.
CIPD qualification is highly desirable but not essential.
Experience of working within an airport, aviation production or maintenance environment is preferred.
