Qualifications:
Candidate must have procurement experience for minimum 4 years in UAE
Candidate must be proficient with federal contracting regulation/FAR/DFARS.
Scope of Position:
Responsible and accountable for Procurements compliance with established policies and procedures.
Participate in development of project execution plans
Oversee all matters relating to the acquisition of goods and services for a project during the proposal process
Manage procurement resources and direct procurement activities to support the planning and execution of assigned projects
Review major purchase orders and subcontracts and participate in major negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors
Plan and budget the procurement resources and systems necessary to support projects.
Understand changing market conditions with regard to trends in the pricing of materials, equipment and services
Identify and develop procurement training material, deliver training to procurement and business unit staff
Mobilization and demobilization of staff supporting projects
Recruitment, performance reviews, termination and discipline of assigned Procurement staff
Strategic partner with business unit leadership team
Mentoring and leadership development
