Role
In this role, your responsibility would include but not limited to
The newest luxury lifestyle dining restaurant that serves authentic Uzbekistan and International cuisines with a lounge and bar is currently looking for Senior Pastry Chef to be based in Dubai, UAE.
Preparation and creation of all pastry specific items within the operation
Ensuring the kitchen areas are clean and tidy
Health and safety regulations, ensuring they are always followed
Delivering a world class customer experience to our customers and staff
Assisting in all areas of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and hospitality
Assisting the Exe Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef with paperwork including stock ordering
Menu planning
Menu costings
Requirements
To be considered in this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
At least 3 years if experience in a fine dining or Michelin starred stand alone restaurant
Demonstrate experience in fine dining operations specialising in pastry along with the understanding of managing high volumes.
A passionate interest in the catering industry knowledge of current trends, well read, eats out of interesting restaurants on a regular basis, talks about and gets excited about food.
A competent communicator and ability to present to colleagues, peers and clients
Financial awareness and understanding of a food profit and loss account and articulate how to control food cost and generate a positive food margin.
Evidence of being organized and possess excellent planning skills
A basic food hygiene qualification
Proven ability to manage and lead a team of chefs
Expected to work all match days
