Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable.
Prepare and present monthly quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including inventory management and cost of goods sold.
Oversee the preparation of VAT Filing and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Manage the accounts payable, including vendor payments.
To ensure ERP is used in the proper manner and as per best practices.
Ensure the accuracy and completeness of payroll records and oversee the payroll process.
Train and supervise accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
Respond to all queries related to financial matters.
Assist in the preparation of yearly budgets.
Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, such as inventories, prepaid deposits, and sub-tenant receivables; reconciles subsystem with General Ledger.
Responsible for preparing cash flow on a fortnightly basis to ensure the funds.
Preparation of MIS report to monitor the efficiency of performance.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
ACCA/CA/CPA/CMA designation is preferred.
5+ years of experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the restaurant industry.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
Proficiency with ERP i.e., Odoo Enterprise is preferred but not mandatory (or any ERP is fine) and Microsoft Office Suite.
