Our client is a local freight forwarder and we are recruiting a UAE experienced strong hunter business development manager from the contract freight forwarding, logistics and cargo industry to join their Jebel Ali team.
The successful candidate will be accountable for sustainable revenue growth, sales planning, sales process optimization and establishing a strong sales team.
Achieve sales volume, revenue and profit through territory mapping, sales planning and reporting.
Plan and implement short- and long-term sales strategies in line with the companys growth strategy.
Prospect and close high value business opportunities.
Work with the strategy team on pricing to increase market share and profitability.
In partnership with the marketing function, establishes strategies to expand the companys customer base.
Mandatory Skills & Experience
710 years consultative selling and business development experience in air freight, transport and logistics in the United Arab Emirates.
Proven success record in customer acquisition, growing sales revenue and reviving dormant accounts in a fast-paced and competitive environment.
Mid-level strategic planning experience of selling on quality, relationship and reputation rather than price to lead large, complex new business and sales opportunities.
Strong commercial and financial acumen for budgeting, sales forecasting, negotiating and closing contracts that generate revenue growth and profitability.
Capabilities to develop long term strategies to meet and exceed the companys revenue target.
Proven business development and sales capabilities in building and managing long term client relationships to generate leads and referrals and progressing them through the sales cycle.
UAE driving license is mandatory.
Currently living in the United Arab Emirates.
Fluency in English must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
Strong managerial gravitas and ability to build relationships and teams.
Hunter mindset and farmer approach with a strong understanding of modern-day sales methodologies, outstanding selling capabilities and excellent interpersonal skills as this role is client facing.
Self-starter with the drive and ambition to achieve results.
Bachelors degree is mandatory
