Black & Grey HR is recruiting for one of the leading automotive distribution businesses in the Middle East. Our client is looking for a Sales Director who will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies while effectively managing performance across the vehicles sales value stream within the context of the business plans. This position demands a result-oriented approach and strong collaboration with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:-Sales Planning and Business Development: Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans. Forecast sales targets, review progress, and implement corrective measures.
Sales Process Optimization: Streamline and optimize sales processes for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
Network Development: Expand and strengthen the business network to enhance market presence.
Principal Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including reporting, negotiation, and product planning. Oversee volume management of vehicles (orders and stock management).
Channel Performance Management and Team Coaching: Lead and coach the sales team to improve performance and meet targets.
New Projects Management: Take charge of new projects within the sales department.
Sales Trade-In (Used Car) Process: Manage and improve the sales trade-in process for used vehicles.
Marketing: Oversee the development and execution of the marketing strategy to promote sales.
Market Monitoring: Continuously monitor market trends and the competitive landscape to stay ahead of industry developments.
Requirements- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably within the corporate or automotive sector.
Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or a relevant field. An MBA or other masters degree is a plus.
Proficiency in both English and Arabic is essential.
Previous experience in the Iraqi market is advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations is mandatory.
Proven track record of success in the automotive field, with a history of increasing sales and revenue.
Effective communication and negotiation skills.
