Responsibilities:
Collect, clean and organize climate data from various sources, including emission data, climate scenarios, climate models.
Conduct statistical analysis and data mining techniques to identify climate trends, patterns and anomalies.
Collaborate with climate scientists and subject matter experts to define data requirements, research questions, and analysis objectives.
Develop and apply data analysis models, algorithms, and tools to process large datasets and extract meaningful insights.
Perform quality assurance and validation procedures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of climate-related data.
Create visualizations, charts, and reports to effectively communicate data findings and trends to relevant stakeholders.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in climate data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modelling techniques.
Assist in the development and improvement of data management protocol and data governance frameworks
Skills & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional qualification (e.g., CFA, FRM) is desirable.
Between 7-10 years’ experience in a similar role, either within a financial services institution or bank.
Asset class experience across equities, FX, fixed income, etc.
High level of attention to detail.
