About The Role
Moove is looking for a Revenue professional to join our growing team. The Revenue Analyst will assist in the validation, accounting and review of high-volume transactions related to Revenue, Cost of sales and related balance sheet reconciliations, along with supporting business initiatives including assessment of new products, acquisitions, and various internal revenue reporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will also be instrumental in ensuring the accurate reporting of revenue and accounting data as part of the monthly revenue close process
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Running revenue and cost of sales reports, along with review, reconciliation and analysis of the reports before posting appropriate journals into the ERP
Identify and amend gaps in data quality and integrity and work with Recon and Data teams to improve data quality
Account for Revenue/Cost of sale accruals and prepayments
Run weekly analysis of aged debtors and ensure accurate bad debt schedules and provisions
Suggest improvements in the current operational reconciliation process and driver payments done by local treasury
Seek to improve revenue analysis and reporting to management, lenders, CMs, etc
To raise data quality issues derived from analysis that pertain to upstream flows
Complete manual billing when necessary
Help implement key processes for new markets before they go live
Assist in annual audit
What You Will Need For This Position
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration/Accounting preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 years of work experience in Accounting, and Finance with some exposure to Revenue.
Advanced Excel skills
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proven ability to meet deadlines, prioritise quickly, organise team dynamics and deliver results with a strong track record of managing deliverables from multiple stakeholders to meet challenging deadlines.
Ability to interact effectively with data, product, treasury and rest of finance teams,
Experience in working with multinational companies across multiple regions
Who You’ll Be Working with:
Directly reporting to the Regional Revenue Manager and working closely with other Regional Revenue teams and wider finance functions as well as Data and Product teams.
