What will you be doing?
This position will report to the VP Sales EMEA and will be responsible for leading the next exciting growth and development phase our communications products for the Autonomous Systems market within the well-established and global technology leading DTC business. This industry is a high growth area within the region and hence a key target area for the Codan business with a key role in our future growth plans.
Working as part of our team based in our Dubai offices and supported through a global company network, this position will focus on delivering organic market sector growth through identification, planning, development, and capture of new business opportunities from both current and existing customers within the Middle East region.
Key Responsibilities will include.
Lead and plan opportunity/country campaign plans and strategy
Develop channel partnerships, OEM relationships and dealer networks.
Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders on deliveries, new product introductions and aftermarket services.
Develop a clear understanding of customer & user requirements, market needs and trends.
Identify and establish appropriate channels/routes to market within the geographical environment.
Develop & implement effective capture strategies for new business.
Negotiate successful order capture on price and scope to deliver required margin.
Report opportunities, prospects, and orders in accordance with company standard reporting format
We are seeking candidates with a proven track record of delivery within a Sales Management role that is looking to be challenged and be part of a business that has demonstrated growth within the Middle East & Central Asia region. The role will engage with Security or Defence sector specialists that ideally have knowledge and experience within Tactical communications and specifically within autonomous systems.
To be successful in this position you will bring the following:
Demonstrable experience in a relevant international tactical communications business environment within the defence or security or sector
Knowledge or experience of the Autonomous Systems market
A proven communicator, verbal and written, with a good level of technical, commercial, and financial awareness.
Ability to tailor sales and management style to each circumstance, relationship, and culture
A drive and passion that will deliver the initial and stretch growth targets within agreed timeframes.
While we prefer candidates with experience in the Middle East and Central Asia, we are open to considering sector specialist candidates who are looking to relocate to the region.
