Manages a team of intermediate or experience professionals in consultant coverage Sales Engineering across Middle East Region for Applied business. Responsible for setting objectives and guiding other on approach for achievement of consultant coverage results. Accountable for ensuring that projects are specified with Carrier equipments to drive business growth and margin improvement and support sales teams in increasing our wins.
Responsible to manage the team to track all design projects requiring Chillers, Airside & Control solutions. Assist consultants and clients in making decisions regarding their HVAC systems right from concept stage of the project up to the tender release by offering suitable solutions from Carrier products.
Manage Technical activities involve analysing HVAC requirements of the projects, render technical guidance to the consultants, technical presentation to customers, technical feasibility studies, information on new product development with the latest innovations and technology, provide software and marketing collaterals.
Manage the team to follow consultants coverage protocol covering technical activities, managing relationship with all stakeholders, keep daily project tracking and regular update of consultant database in your assigned territory through a structured program.
Manage the team to track projects for full design cycle of the project i.e. assist consultants and clients in making decisions regarding their HVAC systems right from concept stage of the project up to the tender release by offering suitable solutions from Carrier products.
Handling key consultants, build relationships and maintain good rapport with them and ensuring proper technical details are given and constantly updating them about the products. Effectiveness will be measured through market feedback analysis.
To regularly conduct market research through projects database, construction updates and other MEP related communication in the HVAC industry to have updated information of all new projects, new consultant or developer entering in the market to capture the relevant information in advance and act upon it to establish a link, engage and create future business opportunities for Carrier.
To ensure smooth information flow between Carrier and consultants. To bring ideas, information & perspective from Carrier to consultants and vice versa. Act as a Carrier ambassador in meetings with consultants and clients.
To ensure that design projects are specified with Carrier sweet spots equipment/products and specifications to increase our winning ratio and support margin growth.
To undertake energy analysis for the projects under design for the equipment performance on bin data through system optimizer software and propose energy efficient solutions.
Conduct HAP trainings, design suit training, LEED simulation HAP trainings, LEED trainings on regular basis and invite consultants and clients to attend these trainings.
For strategic projects, support sales team by facilitating consultant approvals by leveraging consultant relationships and value engineering, by conducting technical presentation & attend technical discussion meeting.
Provide regular inputs to sales team from consultant activities about future projects.
Monthly reporting for # & $M value of projects specified, # of visits, # of technical presentations, # of HAP training, spec to segment ratio and order to spec ratio.
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering and/or related HVAC field. MBA in sales & marketing is additional advantage.
Minimum 12-15 years experience with subject matter expert on Applied equipments & deep understanding of HVAC System.
Expert in relationship management with attributes of sales.
Aptitude for data analysis, slotting studies, and simulation.
Excellent attention to detail in preparing studies and proposals.
Ability to communicate to C-level executives with confidence.
Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including presentations.
Ability to develop “trusted advisor” relationship with customers.
Excellent computer skills , MS Office, software programs, drafting documents, creating spreadsheets, reports, and system design plans.
