Key Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Programme Manager, this role requires the successful candidate to:
Manage the GCAA Part 145 Production Planning deliverables.
Support the implementation and maintenance of scheduling management systems.
Review and communicate work packs, schedules, processes, specifications, and related information.
Administer setup tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realisation of GCAA Part 145 requirements.
Create, communicate, and maintain short-term and medium-term production plans, engaging with the Production Manager, to enable the successful delivery of programme and contractual milestones.
Responsible for ensuring that adherence to the planning regulatory requirement is maintained daily to ensure full compliance.
Provide timely data and schedule reports for programme coordination and reporting purposes.
Interact with engineering facilities (Hangar and Workshops) as well as support customer and programme requirements in line with the schedule of work and coordination of assignments.
Analyse the critical path and working constraints to determine the effect of changes to schedule and recommend alternative scenarios.
Conduct analysis to determine alternative courses of action or recovery on slipped schedules.
Interact with the PMO, Technical Liaison Engineers and Workshop Managers in support of Earned Value Management (EVM) analysis.
Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance.
Assist in developing process improvement policies and infrastructure.
Skills and Experience Requirements:
You will be a confident self-starter, with natural leadership abilities coupled with exceptional English written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of the EASA/GCAA Part 145 Production Planning requirements
5+ years in the Aerospace/Engineering/Manufacturing sectors.
Degree or equivalent in a related field advantageous.
Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, RCA, Agile).
Extremely proficient with production planning and project-based systems.
