How? With qlub, customers order normally via waitstaff, and when its time to pay the bill they can simply tap on a beautiful, custom-branded card and split/pay in seconds. Waitstaff also saves the time they previously spent attending to bill payments and can invest this time in making their guests experience unforgettable. Tips soar, too!
Qlub received >US$40m in funding in the last 18 months, and has grown exponentially to >3,000 venues globally across the Middle East, Europe and APAC. In the UAE we partner with thousands of table-service restaurant (from casual-dining to three-hatted!) across all emirates. We want to improve staffs life and diners experience, and we need switched on, driven individuals to help us get there.
About the Role:
Operations consists of everything after the contract is signed: Onboarding, Customer Success and Support.
As a member of our operations team, you will shape the success of our business and be responsible for making our product viral. You will spend most of your time on the road to onboard and build great relationships with the best restaurants in UAE.
This includes coordinating all of the activities necessary to bring a restaurant live onto our platform, deliver exceptional live training to waitstaff on the use of our product and then supporting them during service.
This hands on experience will give you unique insights to allow you to also define our operations strategy, build processes from scratch, build reports and dashboards to drive insights, set KPIs to measure our success.
Working hours: For successful onboardings it is critical that we support our restaurants by attending service. Hence we require a late start (:11:00) and late finish to (:20:00). Preferred but not essential: Sun to Thursday.
Create and maintain an onboarding schedule across your designated area/city and meet all timelines
Provide training to merchants staff on-site, via phone, and virtually
Cultivate great relationships with your accounts
Mystery shop to ensure all venue staff are up to speed in their product knowledge and management.
Create a great Merchant experience by becoming an expert on the product to handle any queries and/or manage requests
Continually work to improve merchant processes, streamline onboarding and reporting to improve revenue growth
Liaise with our global operations and tech teams to streamline issue resolution
Provide insights for platform development to the Product and Tech teams, based on your on-the-ground experience
Perform tests of new features and integrations
You will succeed in this role if you have:
Valid driving license and your own car
1-2 years of experience in similar client facing roles
Hospitality experience (preferred)
Proven communication / relationship building skills
The ability to be well organized, prioritize your time effectively, and work toward tight timelines
Proven analytical skills
Proficient in Excel and Google Sheet
