Read on! We are looking for a self-driven, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to become part of our Logistics / Operations Team. Your passion for logistics and material processing coupled with at least three years of experience in a dynamic Logistics/Operations/Commercial environment is what will make you successful in this role. As our Logistics Coordinator, you will be the go-to person and expert for all logistics-related matters, in particular material management, import and export, as well as day-to-day Operations tasks. In your new role, youll work closely with our Team Leaders Logistics and Head of Operations and a variety of other stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Performing day-to-day tasks such as manual item corrections, re-bookings and transfers
Taking responsibility for the accuracy of material availability & conducting regular availability checks
Monitoring stock levels and handling stock replenishments
Being the go-to person for internal stakeholders such as our Sales team regarding material availability
Coordinating inbound/outbound container shipments in collaboration with our Yard Operations team
Creating import and export declarations (Dubai Trade Portal) and ensuring all import, export and procurement relevant documentation is being documented and archived
Efficiently monitoring and executing imports including local clearance procedures
Preparing export documents such as pro-forma invoices, packing lists and CoO
Taking responsibility for the accuracy of invoices from other Doka countries & HQ and ensuring invoices are posted in our internal system (incl. allocation of clearing charges)
Ensuring exports to other Doka countries & markets are executed efficiently & effectively
Handling regular, administrative tasks such as month-end closing and ensuring adherence to logistics-related Free Zone requirements & regulations within JAFZA
Assisting with procurement tasks, i.e. LPR/LPO issuance, ensuring necessary approvals are obtained
Pro-actively supporting our (Yard) Operations team with the annual stock take
Assisting the Team Leader Logistics / Head of Operations with further operational logistics tasks
Qualifications
Entrepreneurial thinker with a background in Business Administration, Logistics or similar field
At least 3 years of experience in a dynamic Logistics, Material Management or Commercial environment
Experience in construction environment in the UAE, Middle East and/or JAFZA is a plus
Process and improvement driven analytical thinker, passionate about logistics
Well-organized with well-developed numerical ability and attention to detail
Confident, self-driven individual with a hands-on attitude
Excellent communication skills in English are a must
