Duties:
Building and maintaining detailed company models as directed by the PM
Conducting industry and company-specific research Ð performing channel checks and diligence on specific stocks and industries as directed by the team
Attending conferences and industry events
Building relationships with the relevant sell side analysts, salespeople, and research associates
Committing your daily efforts to the highest levels of professionalism, integrity, and excellence
Ensuring the accuracy and quality of all of your recommendation materials
Supporting fundamental research into companies, industries, and sub-sectors
Reporting on topics such as general economic and industry-specific developments and trends
Prepare preliminary valuation analysis, supporting discussions and negotiations with various stakeholders involved in the process
Assist the planning and execution of marketing engagements
Skills & Experience:
Have an excellent academic track record and hold a degree in accounting, economics and or finance
A demonstrated genuine interest in Financial Restructuring and/or in working on complex and large financial transactions
Prior experience as an intern within an investment bank or boutique, private equity shop or debt fund
Have an understanding of valuation theory, methodologies and applications
Strong quantitative, financial and analytical skills
Strong LBO and DCF modelling skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
An exceptional strong work ethic
Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients and prospective clients and professional advisors
