An exciting opportunity to work with our client in Dubai, headquartered in Paris, France, in the field of civil engineering, building, and road trades.
They are seeking a HR Director for the international division reports functionally to the Human Resources Management of the Montreal-based head office (Canada), and operationally to the Executive Vice President of International.
The hired resource based in Dubai will manage the human resources function dedicated to the company’s international projects.
Ensure the successful management of the International HR team by defining operational objectives and development opportunities;
Lead the development process of the International HR strategic plan;
Lead the department’s annual plan, participate in its implementation and follow-up;
Establish and implement, in collaboration with his/her team, HR practices, policies and orientations;
Manage workforce requirements (skills and competencies) within companies;
Ensure compliance of HR practices with the employment laws and regulations of the various countries in which the companies operate;
Ensure the application of our ethical and compliance standards, and adjust them in line with changes in legislation and internal policies;
Contribute to the transformation and modernization of the HR function’s digital tools;
Support International Division management in all HR matters;
Other related HR tasks.
Managerial courage and a strong sense of responsibility
Strong ability to adapt and react to an international and changing environment;
Bilingual in French and English.
University studies Bac+5 in human resources;
10 years in a similar position;
Experience in human resources in a multi-site, multi-country company;
Willingness to travel to different projects in different countries.
