Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the housekeeping team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Plan and coordinate daily housekeeping activities, including room cleaning, public area upkeep, laundry services, and special projects.
Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet established quality and cleanliness standards.
Collaborate with the Front Office and other departments to ensure timely and efficient guest services.
Maintain inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
Assist in developing and implementing housekeeping procedures and policies to enhance operational efficiency.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Assist in pre-opening preparations, ensuring all rooms and areas are ready to meet the highest standards before guest arrivals.
Uphold health and safety regulations and practices, ensuring a secure and hygienic environment for guests and staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Collaborate with the Executive Housekeeper/ Housekeeping Manager in planning and executing deep cleaning and maintenance schedules.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience in housekeeping operations within a luxury hotel environment is essential.
Pre-opening experience is advantageous, demonstrating familiarity with setting up housekeeping operations from scratch.
Fluency in English is a requirement, both written and spoken.
Experience with Forbes and Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards is advantageous, showcasing a commitment to maintaining exceptional service levels.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and aesthetics.
Proficient in using housekeeping management software and other relevant computer programs.
Excellent communication skills, both with guests and team members.
Flexible schedule, with the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
