Bayut & dubizzle – The Arab World’s only Homegrown Unicorn Business is now inviting applications for internships of 6 months duration in our Marketing & Design department.

As a Graphic Design Intern, you will have a natural eye for design across print and digital mediums. You will possess the drive to inspire dynamic ideas which connect with our audience. You will be working in a team of designers and videographers in close partnership with the editorial and marketing wings, delivering quality work across our Marketing platforms.
In This Role, You Will
Produce fresh, innovative work that translates ideas into compelling visuals for our audience
Design new ideas for social media platforms, print items, events, branded campaigns and marketing messages
Be involved in brainstorming sessions with the team, maintaining our brand identity to develop innovative initiatives
Receive and apply feedback from stakeholders
Analyse trends and keep up with the times
Self-management and ownership, this means managing yourself, your time and your priorities
Receive guidance and oversight from Creative Director/GDM
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Creative Arts
Knowledge of developing marketing/advertising campaigns
Knowledge of print design
Knowledge of digital and UI/UX design
Experience in Visual Ideation/Creativity Typography Design Software (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, a must.) Multimedia Design Software (After Effects, etc.) Color Theory Web Design/Basic HTML & CSS Layout/Conversion Optimization Print Design
Good Knowledge of Print and UI/UX design theory
Knowledge of Figma and BannerSnap is a strong advantage
Client-side/commercial experience and evidence of this work is an advantage
MUST have portfolio for review demonstrating your work
Strong collaborative skills
Fluent English
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage own workload and changing demands
A keen eye for detail
A can-do and flexible approach
Can perform under pressure and operate in a fast pace environment
