From onhunters we are looking for our customer Melia Hotels International SA , for the position of the GENERAL MANAGER for MELIÁ WHITE HOUSE (LONDON – UNITED KINGDOM)

The capital of the United Kingdom combines both tradition and this is one of the most important properties of the brand
At the junction of Marylebone Road and Regent’s Park, this striking 4-star city hotel was built back in 1935.
The hotel has 581 rooms and 112 apartments. And restaurant and Bar .
What We Are Looking For

Providing direct support to the Operations Director in London,
As General Manager, you will be responsible for the Operations of the Hotel and leading the team ( so operations is going to be your key work)
Operation, coordination, management,
Be a team leader to inspire the high performance of hotel teams
Implementations of Procedures and policies of Meliá Hotels International in alignment with the strategic plans.
Requirements

Educational Background

University diploma / degree, preferably in Tourism (or equivalent Hospitality and Tourism studies).

International Experience Is Preferred.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE ( MUST HAVE) :
At least 3 years of experience in a General Manager or Hotel Manager in a large hotel
Your experience should be in a city style property.
360 degrees of Hotel Operations knowledge is a must
Functional knowledge of all department operations.

Knowledge of IT tools used in hotel management.

LANGUAGES
High level of English is mandatory – verbal and written
Spanish will be ideal too.
