Are you a seasoned Restaurant General Manager with a passion for seafood and a desire to work in a high-end, fast-paced environment? Our client, a leading seafood fine-dining concept is looking for a General Manager to join our team and take their establishment to the next level.
As General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the restaurant’s operations, including managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maximizing profitability. You will work closely with the culinary team to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, while also managing front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless guest experience.
What will you do?
To ensure that guests are fully enjoying their visit to the restaurant, the GM directs and motivates the service staff to ensure that guests are having a great time
Establishes restaurant business plans by surveying restaurant demand
Meets restaurant financial objectives by developing finances
Attracts patrons by developing and implementing marketing, advertising, and public and community programs
Provide leadership and direction to a team of people
Sets objectives for the restaurant and reviews them with his team periodically
What are we looking for?
A degree in hospitality management or a relevant field
Prior experience in high-end/fine dining concepts is a MUST
Excellent communication & customer service skills
Comfort working with budgets, payroll, revenue, and forecasting
A strong sense of leadership and an excellent motivator
Experience and knowledge to understand the combination of detail, quality, and volume
