The Candidate
As Front Office Manager you will join a committed team, driven with the intent of delivering FIVE-star experiences to an international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai and Zurich.
The VIBE at FIVE is all about performing optimally while having the best professional experience of your life. You will be expected to have a passion for your role, disrupt norms all whilst having the best time of your life.
As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organizational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing guest solutions that break boundaries.
We are looking for a natural self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking abilities, can focus on, and execute, tasks with a sharp eye for detail. An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think on your feet during changing situations is also essential.
Youll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals
Key Responsibilities
Be passionate about maintaining a service standard that embraces time as the new luxury and therefore deliver FIVE-style service to the highest level of expectation
Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring the quality, standards and meeting the expectations of guests on a daily basis
Evaluate levels of Guest satisfaction and monitor trends, with a focus on continuous improvement
Maximise room occupancy at best rates and use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities
Accountable for the P&L of the department
Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish all responsibilities and duties
Keep the Front Office team focused on the critical components of operations to drive guest satisfaction and the desired financial results
Conduct department meetings and continually communicate clear goals to produce desired results
Review staffing levels to ensure that guest service, operational needs and financial objectives are met
Understands the impact of Front Office operations on the Rooms area and overall property financial goals
Identify and analyze Front Office operational challenges and facilitates the development of solutions to prevent reoccurrence
Requirements
What Were Looking For
A Hands-on approach with a can-do! work attitude
A commitment to delivering exceptional guest services with a passion
An ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
Luxury hospitality experience as a Front Office Manager or similar role
Teamwork-oriented
A positive, hardworking and outgoing personality – with a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
Experience in managing budgets, revenue proposals and forecasting results in a similar sized property
Previous relevant serving experience is a plus
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a necessity
Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
Strong working knowledge of industry regulations is beneficial
