Support EHS initiatives on the DC floor with full associate inclusion
Involve 3rd Party Associates into Near Miss Reporting/Ideation Session
Resolve/Eliminate Near Miss reported instances
Operations
Operational Excellence through on time performance of the DC (Pick to Dock/Load & Truck to Stock)
3rd Party Manpower resource allocation and utilization
Train, supervise and evaluate 3rd Party Workforce
Full inclusive adherence of the DC floor team to defined processes
Stock and location accuracy
Zero operational/MHE downtime
Daily workload planning
Prepare key operational reports for review
Facility Management
Establish and maintain preventive maintenance contracts and scheduled service activities.
Find & eliminate any facility related issues requiring quick actions.
Ensure Operational Fitness is always maintained
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for Health & Safety of all our Associates on the DC floor.
Supervise day-to-day operations of Dubai DC ensuring proper, smooth flow of goods and information in a timely manner.
Plan and assign resources according to the days workload for maximum productivity
Work closely with key internal stake holders for prioritizing outbound/inbound
Ensure proper Inventory management with high integrity and bin accuracy
Timely follow up and closure of open operational points
Manage processes and technology enhancement program to improve productivity
Enhance own skill sets by leveraging available resources to elevate DC capabilities
Maintain Dubai DC in clean and orderly state, with strict adherence to EHS regulations
Train, evaluate and provide feedback to 3rd Party Associates to enhance their skill sets through activity rotation
Manage/Support site surveys, inspections and audits carried out by JAFZ authorities, insurers, qualified nominated consultants, other 3rd parties etc.
Carry out Internal Audits as per schedule and monitor all scheduled checks
Coordinate and implement change management through safety reviews and hazard analysis.
Establish, monitor, report quality metrics and promote action plans to improve where necessary.
Conduct failure analysis to identify Root Causes and implement short-term and long-term corrective actions
Ensure all facility related issues/maintenance activities are addressed on-time
Manage and evaluate contractor performance
Requirements
10+ years of DC operational experience with 3+ years of supervisory responsibility
Ability to work inclusively with a diverse team
Inventory Management skills
Understanding of Operational Quality Management
Effective Usage of IT systems SAP/MS office/Power Apps
Core Competencies & Skills
Comprehensive understanding of DC requirements and limitations with ability to step in into any role on the DC floor
Proven man management skills to deliver timely productive outputs
Excellent communication and influencing skills in a multicultural environment of 3rd Party Associates at different competency levels
Meticulous, data driven decision making ability
Demonstrate a passion for QHSE with understanding of EHS requirements
