We are looking for a Junior Financial Analyst to provide accurate and data-based information on the
company and its competitors. You will research and analyse financial information to help the company
make well-informed decisions, prepare reports, and monitor financial movements.

As our Financial Analyst, you will have these main objectives:
Perform financial reporting, forecasting, and operational metrics tracking
Calculate or reconcile fees and other deductions charged to customers
Reconcile merchants and providers balances and ensure the safeguarding of funds wherever
required
Work closely with the Ops team for the movement and settlement of funds
Create and maintain pricing models and coordinate with the Sales team for any updates
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Analyse past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for
improvements
Work with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
Identify and assist in process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc
reports, tools, and Excel dashboards
Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools
Perform market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely
helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)
You will be a good fit if you:
Have a Masters degree in accounting, finance, or economics or membership in a Professional
Accounting body, with strong analytical and data-gathering skills
Hold 4-5 years of business finance or other relevant experience, preferably with a Financial
Institution or within the Payments industry
Experience in managing FinOps for Merchants and segregated fund accounts
Are well-versed with Excel formulas and functions
Have strong interpersonal skills, including written and oral communication skills
Are comfortable dealing with ambiguity and able to work independently
Are comfortable interacting with executive-level management
