A high growth technology incubator specialised in the blockchain/crypto industry have an exciting newly created opportunity for a Finance Manager to join their team. This position can be based remotely.
Your Responsibilities
Financial Modeling: Model out business scenarios, develop trends and projections, build and track performance metrics, and evaluate new opportunities; manage and analyze financial data to make informed business decisions; monitor funds flows to ensure contingency; analyze operations to reduce or maintain expenses
FP&A: preparation of budgets and forecasts, workin closely with senior management in the development of the long term strategic plan
Compliance: Implement financial policies and procedures to maintain compliance; ensure that financial activities and investments are in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards; staying updated on evolving regulatory frameworks in the cryptocurrency space and ensuring compliance with relevant laws
Accounting: Manage accounting responsibilities and budgets; supervise company and its portfolio invoicing and payrolls
Financial Support: Conduct financial due diligence of projects entering portfolio to assess their financial health, potential, viability and investment requirements; assist them later on with the fundraising efforts, preparing financial projections and models
Your Qualifications
10+ years of professional accounting experience out of which at least 2 years should be within the blockchain/crypto industry
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in business, accounting, or related field with a professional qualification (CPA/CA/ACCA/CIMA)
Working knowledge of national and local tax regulations and compliance reporting
Experience in managing payroll, with focus on streamlining accounting processes
