Our Client is seeking an experienced Finance Controller to join their business. The main responsibilities and qualifications for the ideal candidate is as listed below:
Budgeting, Accounting and Reporting:
Preparing and analysing budgets.
Tracking, reporting, and analysing budget variances.
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cashflow statements.
Managing statutory audits and being focal point for interaction with auditors and issuance of audited financial statements on time.
Banking and Treasury:
Day-to-day banking/treasury operations and banking correspondence.
Preparing regular cashflow forecasts.
Preparing banking proposals.
Banking documentation and correspondence.
Exposure to interest and currency hedging structures.
Analysis and forecasting:
Forecasting financial performance.
ERP system implementation and processes:
Experience in ERP implementation in accounts and finance function.
Ensuring internal controls and recommending changes in policies or procedures.
Ability to lead and mentor accounting and finance team.
Qualifications and Experience:
Chartered accountant with around 12-15 years of experience.
Background in Big 4 + large real estate companies in the GCC.
Background in hospitality will be advantageous.
Excellent analytical and MS excel skills.
