Job Description
Evidence Generation Lead will be accountable for efficient delivery of Medical Affairs observational studies (LDGs) and for coordination/follow-up for our Company-funded Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs) across all Therapy Areas in EEMEA region, ensuring quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the Evidence Generation Pillar of EEMEA GMSA COE, driving continuous innovation, effective partnership with stakeholders across functions and ensuring regular communication
Accountability for driving timely execution of approved LDGs/publications through Contract Research Organizations (CROs)
Partner with Global Procurement for identifying, screening, qualification and contracting of CROs
Be the operational point of contact for CROs
Provide oversight to these vendors and ensure delivery of services as per agreed upon performance metrics
Perform periodic quality checks and assist vendors for audit preparedness
Ensure that vendors adhere to the latest SOPs, ERs, standards and systems
Share updates with and seek feedback from Country Medical Directors and NIS ROC at regular intervals and loop the same back to CROs for continuous improvement
Manage study related budget
For all the Investigator Initiated Studies (IISs) that have been approved for funding, coordinate with investigators, MISP-RC office and country medical teams for contracting, quarterly follow-up reports, milestone payments and end of study processes in a timely and effective manner
Required Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s / Masters degree in Life Sciences or related studies
Minimum of six years of pharmaceutical/biotechnology/medical device industry experience in study execution either in clinical operations and/or in medical affairs function
