Description:
At our Dubai MRO Center we are specialists in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of aircraft components. As part of our planned continued expansion, we require an experienced individual who will contribute to our success, whilst upholding our reputation as a leading provider of quality MRO services with customers. An opportunity has arisen for an engineer to support the Air Management Systems cell at the MRO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Leads new capability addition for components at the Dubai MRO.
Creation of work packs and Standard Work Combination sheets to support the maintenance and overhaul of AMS products and systems.
Completes change reviews of Technical Publications.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop technical solutions.
Provides alternatives for consumables and completes tooling equivalencies.
Supports Calibration of Tooling.
Leads troubleshooting of complex test equipment.
Partners and engages with operations / quality teams to facilitate and drive robust RCCA to reduce Escapes/COPQ/Customer Disruptions and improve customer satisfaction.
Participates and or drives continuous improvement initiatives/activities
Other activities as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field or in absence of a degree, 6 years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the operation and maintenance of air compressors, valves, heat exchangers and turbomachinery
Experience in Project management.
Experience in using SAP.
Sound communication skills to effectively liaise with peers and personnel from different departments.
Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills.
Excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite especially Excel, PowerPoint & Word.
