Our Front Office Team are the final piece of the puzzle, they are cultured yet trendy hosts with an intuitive ability to anticipate guests needs by being in the right place at the right time and delivering a hospitality experience that goes above and beyond – crafting memories for our guests that last a lifetime.
As Duty Manager you will join a committed Front Office team driven with the intent of delivering FIVE-star guest experiences to an international diaspora in the heart of vibrant Dubai.
As our ideal candidate, you have proven server experience in a highly active environment. Your organisational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing solutions that push groundbreaking boundaries.
Youll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving service goals.
Key Responsibilities
Be passionate about maintaining a service standard that embraces time as the new luxury and therefore deliver FIVE-style service in a timely manner to the highest level of expectation – all while having fun with the FIVE Vibe!
Work closely with Guests to greet, converse, and assist with enquiries – especially when VIP Guests and long-stay Guests
Occupy the hotel lobby and other public areas, particularly at busy times
Engage Guests in conversation, and provide general assistance
Manage, record, and resolve all Guest complaints promptly and effectively
Meet and greet VIP Guests and major corporate clients upon arrival
Coordinate the services and special facilities provided to long-stay Guests
Understand all credit procedures and ensure they are applied
Stay current and up-to-date with all hotel products, services, policies and emergency procedures
Monitor Guest satisfaction reports and implement actions to improve results
Handle, record and follow through with management issues or emergencies that arise
Conduct any Health & Safety procedures, if required, including fire walks, food safety investigations, etc.
Requirements
What Were Looking For
A Hands-on approach with a can-do! work attitude
A commitment to delivering exceptional guest services with a passion
An ability to find creative solutions while taking ownership for all duties and tasks assigned
Good knowledge of Health & Safety and security procedures
Luxury hospitality experience as a Duty Manager or similar role
Teamwork-oriented
A positive, hardworking and outgoing personality – with a fun-to-work-with energy at all times!
Experience in managing a diverse team
Previous relevant serving experience is a plus
Fluency in English (spoken and written) is a necessity
Proficiency in multiple languages is a bonus
Strong working knowledge of industry regulations is beneficial
