KEY RESULTS ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Main role in developing and implementing Drivers Affairs Department strategy in alignment such as:
Smart City, Dubai Open Data, Dubai Plan 2021, UAE AI, UAE centennial 2071, Block Chain Dubai, Dubai IoT, Paperless, UAE National Agenda, UAE Innovation Strategy, Smart Government Strategy, client Digital strategy, and 50-Year Dubai charter development plan specially Dubai silk road article.
Create better understanding for governance, legal and operational aspect gaps and challenges between Dubai, federal and other emirates.
Market analysis studies & high level reporting to investigate current & future challenges, opportunities internal & external, regional & international.
Communicate with commercial transportation Key players in Dubai/UAE to align their roles, interests and concerns with client strategy to optimize Drivers Affairs regulation in local and federal level.
Review an existing DAD activities to update its licensing regulation framework based on best practices and/or to identify new activities and services.
Optimizing the revenues and costing for the department.
Study, develop and implement the strategic KPIs for the department.
Develop attractive procedures to encourage private sector to invest more in DAD.
Draw inferences from analyses and prepare required material to present to management.
Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as appropriate.
Participate when required in all departmental efforts related to the ISO and/or required international standards.
Define strategic goals and standards for the department and translate these standards into service performance indicators, and advice on implementation.
View the best practices in the field of training, recruitment and permits.
Develop work mechanisms along with our strategic partners.
Carry out best practice and benchmarking studies and researches in order to identify development.
Opportunities and areas where improvement is needed and advice Director accordingly.
Coordinate with concerned departments to identify survey and research requirements.
Transport licensing within the emirates.
Provide specialist advice, coordination and follow up at the-point-of-need.
Bachelors in business administration or relevant degree from a recognized University.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a related field.
Highly analytical thinking with demonstrated talent for identifying, scrutinizing, improving, and streamlining complex work processes.
Computer-literate performer with extensive software proficiency covering wide variety of applications.
Flexible team player who thrives in environments requiring ability to effectively prioritize and juggle multiple concurrent projects.
