e.construct designs structures such as bridges, high-rise design, commercial facilities design, precast concrete engineering, and post-tensioning design. We are a multi-disciplinary engineering design firm with specialized design and value engineering services. The firm’s core work is holistic at its approach, and it has divisions in structural, MEP, Geotechnical, and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing of concrete, technology, and 3D laser scanning.
Has in-depth knowledge of the chemical composition and behavior of UHPC is essential, including the role of different admixtures, fibers, and micro/nano-particles. Understanding and predicting the interaction between different materials is crucial to designing effective UHPC formulations
Able to design and optimize manufacturing processes, including mixing, casting, curing, and finishing techniques, to ensure the final product meets the required performance standards
A thorough understanding of quality control processes and the ability to use testing and analysis equipment to evaluate the performance of UHPC are essential. This includes knowledge of industry standards and best practices for testing UHPC products
May be involved in managing projects related to the development, production, and application of UHPC products. This requires strong organizational and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other professionals
Must be familiar with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations, as well as best practices for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify and solve problems related to UHPC manufacturing and application is essential, including troubleshooting production issues and optimizing product performance.
Technical writing and communication skills: A chemical engineer in UHPC must be able to write technical reports and communicate complex technical information to a variety of audiences, including other engineers, sales teams, and customers
Bachelors degree in engineering
5 years of experience working as a Chemical Engineer
Excellent reporting and communication skills
Ability to work with large data sets
Strategic thinking, organizational skills, and analytical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven work experience as a Chemical Engineer or similar role
Ability to cooperate and communicate with others, especially those without a technical background
Computer literacy to run simulations and conduct ongoing research
Exceptional problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, presentation, and project management skills
