Overview
Reporting to the Manager Radiology and Cardiovascular, the Cardiovascular Technologist role is to provide and maintain a high standard of medical imaging procedures for the Centre by organizing and performing a variety of routine tests on the patients to obtain information for use in the diagnosis and/or treatment. Responsible for the day-to-day running of the echo service including first line triage, performing studies, service improvement. Responsible for the maintenance of quality standards, and the effectiveness of patient pathways. Operationally the Cardiovascular Technologist will provide specialist technical expertise for the Electrophysiology and Pacing program and will assist with the Invasive and Non-Invasive programs as deemed necessary.
Education
BSc degree in Cardiovascular program
Experience
Minimum of 4 years within the same field
Certification and Licensure
Valid UAE Medical License
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
