Functional Accountabilities

Develop visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards using Power BI.
Create new and enhance existing dashboards from the various sources of data like Azure Synapse, Snowflake, Google Big Query, Flat files, etc.
Translate data into actionable insights that will drive the decision-making process.
Implement row-level security on data.
Publish and schedule Power BI reports as per the business requirements.
Integrate Power BI reports into other applications using embedded analytics.
Perform DAX queries and functions in Power BI.
Support the development of the business KPI library by adding new business metrics and dimensions.
Research, develop, and implement data-gathering methods.
Create and maintain documentation including requirements, design, and user manuals.
Identify opportunities to improve processes and strategies with technology solutions.
Identify development needs in order to improve and streamline operations.
Create relationships between data and develop tabular and other multidimensional data models.
Develop data warehouse queries that will be used to support ad-hoc business analysis.
Work closely with the vendors to ensure best practices are followed during the design and development of the Business Intelligence solutions.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Masters degree is preferred.

Minimum Experience

2+ years of experience as a BI Developer.
Strong Knowledge of Power BI, SQL, MS Synapse, Snowflake, and Python.
