Business development manager is responsible for the establishment and maintenance of long- term relation with each client/prospect in Oil & Gas segment for UAE and Kuwait at every level from the C-Level /executive suite to departmental line managers.
Business development manager shall drive new business through the identification, development, negotiation, and closure of project including greenfield projects or new digital transformation initiatives with prospects and clients.
BDM will be responsible in selling process automation solutions such as DCS ,ESD , F&G , SCADA ,PLC and digital transformation solutions such as UOC, CS , DT to respective O&G customers in UAE and Kuwait .
He targets potential leads, qualify them, and lead the SE pursuit team in crafting and positioning the deal. To this end, He shall leverage his domain expertise in O&G industry along with business finance knowledge to create demand and persuade through the development and presentation of compelling purchasing rationales.
Additional BDM responsibilities include the smooth transition of new business from sales to delivery, coaching and mentoring account delivery leaders on client relationship management issues, providing feedback on customer needs, ensuring compliance with SE sales processes and new business approval requirements, coordinating the relationship between key client personnel and SE senior executives, and leading or coordinating global relationship management initiatives with other geographic units of SE focused on the same client.
BDM is responsible for managing the entire sales process from identifying prospects to negotiating and closing contracts.
Other job essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Define & execute O&G segment strategy for PA in UAE and Kuwait, drive segment growth, and develop value
Proposition to customers.
Identify prospects, market mapping and create entry strategies for each customer
Execute competitive sales tactics to grow business
Lead efficient collaboration across Schneider Electric organization, removing roadblocks and friction points
Coordinate deal crafting and positioning
Qualifications – External
Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferably controls or electronics engineering)
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
Reference experience working with major O&G customers in UAE/Kuwait (ADNOC , KOC , KNPC, Equate)
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in complex, solution selling with end users and EPCs.
Strong domain expertise in O&G Automation business.
Established senior executive relationships within targeted industries.
Strong expertise in UAE/Kuwait market and economy dynamics
Superior presentation development and communication skills
