A leading company in the Audio Visuals and Lighting sector, is recruiting a native Arabic-speaking electrical engineer having 5-8 years of experience
as a Technical Business Development Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate must have a solid background in technical aspects related to the field and a strong understanding of the companys business. He/She should possess excellent communication skills and a proven ability to generate leads, build client relationships, and drive sales growth. This role reports to the Sales Director/Management.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain client relationships to generate sales and expand the companys client base, with a focus on technical solutions in the Audio Visuals and Lighting field.
Identify sales prospects within the territory and provide accurate forecasts and activity reports to management.
Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets and profit goals by leveraging technical expertise.
Assist in developing price quotations, estimation, budgets, technical proposals, submittals, tender documents, and bid responses that are complete, accurate, and technically sound.
Collaborate with the installation team to ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation, providing technical guidance and support if needed.
Design and implement focused prospecting tools, such as technical presentations and demonstrations, to increase sales and expand the customer base in the designated territory.
Establish professional relationships with manufacturer/distributor sales and sales engineering personnel, leveraging technical knowledge to drive partnerships and collaborations.
Utilize internal databases to manage client contact information, maintain detailed technical notes, and track pending technical activities.
Represent the company at technological briefings, trade shows, and industry events as assigned, showcasing technical expertise and the companys offerings.
Participate in training and professional development activities related to technical advancements and industry trends.
Prioritize and balance multiple technical tasks in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality.
Work independently, meet technical deadlines, and demonstrate exceptional time management skills.
Implementing CRM while setting up and using software or tools to help a business manage and improve its interactions and relationships with customers. It involves organizing customer information, tracking interactions, automating tasks, and using data to provide better service and make more informed decisions.
Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive technical matters with discretion.
Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills in both technical and business contexts.
Stay up to date on new products, technological advancements, and industry developments in the audiovisual field.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Proven experience of 5 to 8 years in technical business development, preferably in the Audio Visuals and Lighting system integration industry.
Strong technical knowledge of audiovisual technologies, lighting systems, and related solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information to clients effectively.
Demonstrated track record in generating leads, closing sales, and meeting/exceeding targets, with a focus on technical solutions.
Proactive and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with strong attention to detail.
Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the audiovisual field.
