We are looking for a Billing Assistant to join the team at IIQAF, a leading quality assurance and facility management organization.
As the Billing Assistant, you will be responsible for creating and managing invoices for our customers and vendors in an accurate and timely manner. You will also be responsible for the reconciliation and collection of all accounts receivable.
To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of basic accounting principles, excellent organizational and communication skills, and be able to handle a variety of tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage customer and vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
Reconcile accounts receivable and assist in collection efforts.
Assist in creating and implementing internal billing policies and procedures.
Suggest and track adjustments to accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Generate billing reports for review and resolve discrepancies.
Liaise with other internal departments to ensure billing accuracy and issue resolution.
Respond to customer requests and inquiries regarding payment status.
Manage and coordinate with external service providers for invoice processing.
Maintain records of billing activity for audit purposes.
Qualifications
Associates Degree in Accountancy, Finance or related field.
Experience working with financial systems and software.
Knowledge of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
Familiarity with Quality Assurance and Facility Management best practices.
Highly organized and good communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
