Overview Of Position
You will be responsible for driving the sales of our products in the market through listing our range of new customers, high levels of distribution, and on-brand merchandising. You will build strong relationships with your customer base and drive customer advocacy for our products by educating retailers on the benefits and usage of our exclusive range.
This position will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. So, if are you a driven, results-oriented individual who has a natural flair for building relationships, we’d love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities
Driving Sales
Drive sales in partnership with the retailer and with the consumer at heart.
Identify and communicate merchandising requirements to ensure the best visibility and display.
Ensure stock levels are in line with customer demand and properly managed.
Conduct store visits in line with the pre-agreed agenda and messaging.
Negotiate and manage contracts/agreements with customers for the placement of displays and promotions.
Communicate product sales promotions to customers effectively, ensuring maximum impact.
Manage outlet promotional plans and schedule and supervise promoters if needed.
Ensure proper tracking and timely collection of payments.
Building relationships
Engage with prospective retailers to build excitement for the category which ultimately leads to listings for our portfolio.
Ensure the customer base is visited in line with the agreed call plan and schedule, that best meets customer needs and demand.
Act as the first point of contact with the retailer for any issues relating to our products or services within the area.
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize the satisfaction of the retailer.
Reporting & Analyzing
Monitor and report sales by customer & products, identifying trends and opportunities.
Collate feedback from the field and share it with the line manager and sales team.
Monitor and report on competitor activity.
Skills & Qualification
At least 5 years of sales exposure in FMCG/Distributor operations in the UAE market.
Good communication, networking, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
Ability to travel as required for client meetings and shopfront checks.
Experience in the Pet industry is preferred.
