Key Responsibilities

Assist the waiters in setting up tables, including the arrangement of tableware and utensils.
Greet guests warmly, escort them to their tables, and provide menus.
Take drink and food orders accurately and promptly.
Serve beverages and assist with food service, ensuring dishes are presented elegantly and according to restaurant standards.
Monitor guest needs and promptly attend to their requests, ensuring their dining experience is exceptional.
Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for the next guests.
Collaborate with other restaurant staff to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Assist in restocking supplies and inventory control as needed.
Provide detailed information about menu items and daily specials to guests.
Uphold restaurant policies, procedures, and hygiene standards always.
Adhere to the Forbes Standards guidelines for service excellence.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For

Fluency in English is mandatory.
Knowledge of additional languages such as Italian, Spanish, Arabic, German, Russian, French, or Mandarin is advantageous.
Previous experience in a similar role in a fine dining or luxury restaurant is preferred.
Exceptional customer service skills with a strong attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a professional demeanour.
Knowledge of Forbes service standards is a plus.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
