As our ideal candidate, you have proven experience in a highly active environment. Your organisational, communication, and leadership skills are second to none and you enjoy developing financial solutions that push groundbreaking boundaries.
An outgoing, people-friendly personality with an ability to think on your feet during changing situations is also essential.
Youll work closely with the management team to develop constantly evolving financial goals.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting the Group Purchasing Manager, in planning, organizing, and managing the companys business goals and objectives in order to deliver efficient, professional services to all stakeholders
Managing purchase orders for raw goods, materials, and supplies
Liase with Departments Heads for individual department requirements, provide them with alternatives and advise on cost effective procurement, economical order quantity and on setting the Par Stock levels for all the items
Strictly follow FIVEs Purchasing Procedures, while ensuring that each purchase is supported with three quotations. The quotation(s) should not be a paper exercise but every cost comparison must ensure best price and best quality up to FIVE standards
Conduct market survey on a timely basis in order to study market innovations, new products, cost comparisons etc.
Oversee all vendor related activities
Manage inventory and maintain all purchase orders
Develop a supply and production plan to ensure timely delivery
Create and monitor the performance of the purchasing strategy
Oversee and support FIVEs purchasing staff
Stick to project timelines by delivering the right products at the right time, without damage
Report to management on monthly basis savings achieved during the month
Conduct research on potential products, vendors, and services, and compare prices and quality in order to ensure the best deal
Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analysis on a regular basis, as required
Attending and contributing effectively to meetings with stakeholders
