We have an exciting opportunity for you as Assistant Director of Sales (Leisure) to join our enthusiastic team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.
As an Assistant Director of Sales you are responsible you manage the property’s reactive and proactive sales efforts; provides day to day leadership to sales executives and managers to achieve property sales objectives with overall responsibility for achieving booking goals and property revenues and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing in producing, implementing and monitoring action plans to ensure Business Plan objectives are achieved.
Analyses current and potential markets/trends, co-ordinates all activities to maintain and increase revenue through added business volume and increased rates.
Assists the Director of Sales & Marketing with weekly reviews of sales team activities to ensure targets and sales objectives are being met.
Review the daily business levels, anticipate critical situations and plan effective solutions in conjunction with the department heads, to best expedite these situations.
Assists with the development and implementation of promotions, both internal and external.
Works with management team to create and implement a sales plan addressing revenue, customers and the market for the segment.
Leading the team & setting strategies to achieve department goals
The successful candidate will be hands-on leader with the ability to positively coach and motivate the team to success. Ideally, the candidate would have minimum 3 years experiences in a similar role in a 5 star hotel; able to handle multi-national team. Knowledge of Corporate Segment will be an added advantage. The position required a high organization skill; highly motivated; focus on training and developing staff member; good administration skill.
