Job Title: Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards. This position will play a key role in maintaining the financial health and integrity of our organization.
Financial Records Management:
Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.
Financial Statement Preparation:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and manage outstanding invoices.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate cash and bank records.
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations.
Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and updates.
Audit and Compliance:
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial performance assessment.
Documentation and Record Keeping:
Maintain organized and well-documented financial records for audit and reference purposes.
Utilize accounting software (mention specific software used by the organization) to record and process financial transactions.
Team Collaboration:Collaborate with the finance team and other departments to support financial goals and objectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Professional accounting designation (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is a plus.
