Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. Key Responsibilities:
Financial Records Management:
Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, and journals.
Verify, allocate, post, and reconcile transactions.
Financial Statement Preparation:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial forecasts.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor and manage outstanding invoices.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
Maintain accurate cash and bank records.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and national tax regulations.
Stay up-to-date with tax law changes and updates.
Audit and Compliance:
Assist with internal and external audits.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Financial Analysis:
Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis and financial performance assessment.
