The Account Developeris responsible for developing and implementing the in-country company strategyin collaboration with the GS leadership team and Hub Management. The AccountDeveloper will also be responsible for implementing policies, procedures, andguidelines that align with the overall strategic plan, ensuring compliance withcompany and country regulations, and maintaining strong connections withcustomers, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders. The Account Developerwill also provide leadership to the operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-dayoperations, driving quality assurance efforts, and monitoring employeeperformance and productivity levels.
Key Duties andResponsibilities:
Develop and implement the in-country company strategy in collaboration with the GS leadership team and Hub Management.
Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines that complement the overall strategic plan.
Implement all safety regulations and guidelines in line with regional governance to reduce the likelihood of incidents and accidents on the job site.
Ensure adherence to company and country regulations, including national and international laws.
Organize customer service activities and develop customer capabilities and understanding.
Provide strong and dynamic leadership to the operations team, including coaching, motivation, and performance management.
Maintain cooperative connections with all relevant groups within the company, such as Business Operations, Sales, Service Operations, Project Management, and EQS.
Maintain agreements and connections with customers, suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders.
Lead efforts for quality assurance, including risk assessment, root cause analysis, and implementation of changes.
Monitor spending and budgeting to maximize costs and benefits.
Inspire and mentor teams to increase engagement and productivity.
Organize staff task assignments and distribution.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide performance feedback to employees.
Maintain thorough and understandable records of all operational processes and operations.
Ensure team adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for every aspect of the operation.
Hold regular meetings with the team to discuss problems, issues, updates, and other relevant matters.
Support the audit process and operational risk management for preventative maintenance.
Develop and implement employee training and development programs to boost operational performance.
Monitor operational performance, analyze data, and make suggestions for improvement.
Conduct regular performance reviews to identify areas for improvement among employees.
Organize and collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and budgeted completion of projects.
Manage a team of employees overseeing various areas of the organization’s operations.
Transparently liaise with stakeholders about the state of operations team and projects, and proactively highlight any potential problems.
Create and regularly update operational activity reports and present them to the management team.
Language Skills: Fluency in English (reading, written, and spoken) and preferably Arabic
Cultural Understanding: Regional and country-specific cultural understanding and sensitivity
Experience: Technical qualification or at least 10 years of experience in a leadership position
Location: Willingness to spend extended periods of time within Libya.
Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a leadership position.
Business Acumen: Knowledge of all company functions, including HR, finance, field service, sales, and supply chain.
